The American Rangers Martial Law Enforcement Training Institute had a 36 year history of teaching our proprietary defensive tactics methods known as PKC®. ARMLETI was founded begun in 1980 and became an international company in 1990.
PKC stands for “Physical Knowledge Control” This is Capt. Painter’s method of self-defense tactics originally designed from the methods of Chinese and Tibetan bodyguards for law enforcement and military police. With the rising tide of crimes against persons in the US, Capt. Painter has not made PKC available to qualified members of the general public.
Captain Painter’s PKC tactical combat system includes practical training in defensive tactics against single, multiple, unarmed and armed assailants. The study includes; kinetics, proxemics, (correct distance) paralinguistic, (voice commands) and plyometric (explosive power training). Mental tactics for emotional as well as physical survival arising from violent conflicts are explored.
