The American Rangers Martial Law Enforcement Training Institute had a 36 year history of teaching our proprietary defensive tactics methods known as PKC®. ARMLETI was founded in 1980 and taught hundreds of police, corrections officers, military and bodyguard trainers who over the years taught an estimated 30,000 officers, corrections officers, soldiers and bodyguards. ARMLETI taught in almost every state, with branches in Canada and Israel.
Based on modified version of the Chinese internal martial arts of Baguazhang and Xingyiquan. The curriculum included hand to hand defensive tactics, PKC Pistol Craft, rifle, shotgun and a special sniper division operated by Ranger Sgt. Rick Krausman. Courses also included: several styles of baton tactics, handcuffing techniques, pepper spray, taser usage, arrest and detention skills, edged weapons combat and defense. ARMLETI was said to have made a difference in a reduction of “use of force” complaints in every department that adopted the PKC concepts.
The company operated until it ceased operations in 2016. We are proud to have served and helped save lives of those who men and women who dedicate their lives to protect others.
