| A great feature of our customized learning program is that you have options. You may choose a pre-set program of development or you may choose an area of study that interests you. Many of our visitors study other styles of martial arts but are passionate about learning a weapon not included in their style. The solution? A program tailored to your needs and desires. Whether you choose to study a single weapon or to follow a traditional program of development through a progression of weapons, you will receive expert instruction every step of the way. Our weapon programs are not taught as fancy demonstration forms. We use combat-ready weapons made of steel and/or solid wood. Practicing the basics of movement, control, power, and how to adapt the weapon to your style of martial art is the key to understanding weapons. You will learn strategy, striking zones and real combat principles as expressed by each particular weapon. Below you will find an overview of the weapons included in the Daoqiquan system.
